This blog is all over the place. It's almost Saint Patrick's Day, and we're throwing out Christmas posts. Well, let's rewind one more time to BEFORE Christmas. I cannot believe I forgot Quinn's first trip to Tahoe and Gv's (pronounced "Big G, little V") and Darrow's wedding!
Quinn loved Tahoe so much that she projectile vomited while we were in line to get on the cable car to head up to the top of the mountain. And then she continued to projectile vomit for the next 3 days. We were SO SO thankful that devin's mom had so kindly flown out so that we could go to the wedding without having to tag-team hanging with Quinn and without finding a 17-year-old snow bunny to watch her (not quite ready for that). If devin's mom had not been there, we'd probably either driven back to oakland or each spent an hour at the wedding while the other caught puke and changed clothes about a 7 times. Given the vomiting and the nose tube, we were incredibly lucky to have grandma nancy (who is a registered nurse) with us. THANK YOU!!!!!
The wedding was almost like a 5-year reunion from our days living in San Francisco. We ate good food, danced our faces off, and laughed a lot. Of course we still do all of those things now, but this was dancing and laughing while all of the wee tikes enjoyed some grandma time. Just a slightly different kind of energy. :)
Congrats to Genevieve and Ryan on their marriage and their almost-here baby, and thanks for hosting the party of the year!

| The 1960 Winter Olympics were held at Squaw Valley in Lake Tahoe which was where the wedding was held. This was the "museum" which was little more than a room with some old skis and newspaper clippings. The T/Z family swept the competition for fastest diaper change. |
