kate: "Look how cute this fuzzy brown hat is. I'm gonna see if she'll keep it on for our walk."
devin: "Check it out. It looks like Quinn has an afro when she's wearing this hat. Darnit, I wish we had a light saber."
kate: "Oh!" while disappearing into the office/Quinn's room. "Look what I found when I was cleaning out old work stuff this morning! I almost threw it away." (holding up bubble wand)
devin: "Perfect!!"
And so began Quinn's first costume and picture with props..a tribute to Luke Skywalker. Devin thinks it's an atrocity that I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies in their entirety. He is making sure that Quinn does not suffer the same fate. And we can't wait until she goes to college (or trade school or the military or where ever) and says to her new friends, "wait, you didn't use props and wear costumes when you took pictures with your family?! I thought that was totally what everyone did!"

kate... i haven't seen any of the star wars movies in their entirety either. i tried to watch 'return of the jedi' once and fell asleep. (yes, devin you're right. this is totally odd since i'm obsessed with space.) if quinn doesn't ever see them she'll obves still turn out super rad.
Addison has a pink bubble wand and Andrew a blue one. Addison just saw this photo and gleefully exclaimed, "Quinn has one, too!!"
